About Doug

Doug May is a trusted real estate advisor, marketer and transaction specialist with over 30 years of real estate sales experience. Since becoming a licensed REALTOR® in 1990, Doug has built his career on providing superior service to his clients and applying his exceptional market intelligence and negotiating skills to achieve outstanding results. Doug’s unwavering integrity, consistency and reliability have been rewarded with client relationships that span many years and multiple market cycles. Doug holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Tulane University and is also a graduate of the University of Michigan where he played and coached NCAA Div. I hockey. A native Calgarian, raised in Haysboro and Lakeview Village, he has taken great joy in giving back to his community, whether providing coaching and leadership to local youth, helping to realize community improvements such as the Flames Community Centre or advancing the goals of professional organizations. Doug currently sits on the Board of Directors of The Headwater Learning Group and Calgary Academy. He is proud to have raised three fine young men in East Elbow Park: a geologist here in Calgary, an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces and a law student at UNB.
